Hi everybody,
I have a 2000 to 2005 snapshot replication that has been working
optimally on a nightly basis for months now. I continue to add
articles and new fields to the publisher and these are brought into
the SQL 2005 64 bit box via a pull subscription. We recently modified
a field from 5 to 6 chars and with everthing I read, I have to drop
the subscription to alter the field on the publisher. I have dropped
the field out of the published fields on that table to no avail. Is
there any way around this? If I make a mistake, can I just restore the
distribution db back to get my replication the way it was?
Any ideas? I need to get this done pretty soon...
Thanks,
KristinaPlease take a look at this article:
